Overwatch update adds brand new game mode

A new update has been released for Overwatch to tie into this year’s Olympics in Rio

Included in this update is a brand new game mode, Lúcioball, and a wealth of new cosmetic items, such as themed emotes, victory posts, player icons, skins, highlight intros, and sprays. Lúcioball is a 3-on-3 take on soccer. It’s set in the Estádio das Rãs stadium with teams tasked with scoring as many goals as possible within four minutes. The map features a number of jump pads and speed boosting walls, which Blizzard say let players "punch, glide, block, bounce, and boop and their way to victory." For the purpose of this game mode, Lúcio’s primary fire has been replaced with a melee attach, so he can punch the ball. His alternate fire emits a blast of sound to launch the ball further. Finally, Sound Barrier pulls the ball towards him from anywhere on the field. The new mode is part of a seasonal event for Overwatch, which runs until August 22.
